Blu-ray Disc (data base), the technology adapted to Televisions High-definition

This new format was developed to allow the recording, the gravage and the reading of the video High-definition (HD), but also to store a great quantity of data. The name Blu-ray is derived from the technology which is at the base of this format and which uses a purple blue laser for reading and engraving data. The name is a combination of “Blue” (the purple blue laser) and of “Ray” (optical ray). The format Blu-ray Disc was developed by the BDA (Blu-ray Disc Association), a leader group in the field of the consumable electronic ones, the personal computers and the media and which gathers more than 180 companies members everywhere in the world.

Concerning its specificities, this format offers more than five times the storage capacity of the traditional DVD of today and can support until 25GB on a disc on only one surface and until 50GB on a disc on double surface. Moreover, one can put more than 9 hours of video high-definition (HD) on a disc of 50GB and approximately 23 hours of video of standard definition (SD) on a disc of 50GB. The format also supports the audio formats with high-definition and without loss of sound. As for its resistance, the DVD Blu-ray do not require for cartridge of protection because Blu-ray takes care some in the place, which makes the disc much more resistant to the scratches and the digital fingerprints that the traditional DVD, while preserving same appearance however.

On the level of the costs, the Blu-ray products will be probably expensive in the first times because of low volumes of production, but that will not be a problem very a long time since one envisages already a broad product range relating to Blu-ray (readers, recorders, engravers, media, etc) what normally will help to lower the production costs in general because volumes of production will be increased. Technology of LED Backlight Television

TV manufacturers can use an LED backlight instead of the Cold Cathode Fluorescent Lamps (LCD-CCFL) used in most LCD televisions. LCD-based televisions described as ‘LED TVs’ are different from self-illuminating Organic light-emitting diode (OLED), OEL or AMOLED display technologies. There are several methods of backlighting an LCD panel using LEDs including the use of either White or RGB (Red, Green and Blue) LED arrays positioned behind the panel; and Edge-LED lighting, which uses white LEDs arranged around the inside frame of the TV along with a light diffusion panel to spread the light evenly behind the LCD panel.
Compared to regular CCFL backlighting, an LED backlight provides higher brightness and improved color gamut. However advancements in CCFL technology mean wide color gamuts and lower power consumption are also possible. Cost is the principal barrier to wide use of LED backlighting on LCD televisions.
The variations of LED backlighting do offer different benefits. The first commercial LED backlit LCD TV was the Sony Qualia 005 (introduced in 2004) and featured RGB LED arrays to produce a color gamut around twice that of a conventional CCFL LCD television. This was possible because the combined light output from red, green and blue LEDs produces a more pure white light than is possible with a single white light LED. RGB LED technology continues to be used on selected Sony BRAVIA LCD models, with the addition of ‘local dimming’ which enables excellent on-screen contrast through selectively turning off the LEDs behind dark parts of a picture frame.
Edge LED lighting was first introduced by Sony (September 2008) on the 40 inch BRAVIA KLV-40ZX1M (referred to as the ZX1 in Europe). The principal benefit of Edge-LED lighting for LCD televisions is the ability to build thinner housings (the BRAVIA KLV-40ZX1M is as thin as 9.9mm). Others have also introduced Edge-LED lit LCD televisions with extremely thin housings.
LED-backlit LCD TVs are considered a more sustainable choice, with a longer life and better energy efficiency than plasmas and conventional LCD TVs. Unlike CCFL backlights, LEDs also use no mercury in their manufacture. However, other elements such as gallium and arsenic are used in the manufacture of the LED emitters themselves, meaning there is some debate over whether they are a significantly better long term solution to the problem of TV disposal.
Because LEDs are able to be switched on and off more quickly than CCFL displays and can offer a higher light output, it is theoretically possible to offer very high contrast ratios. They can produce deep blacks (LEDs off) and a high brightness (LEDs on). However, measurements made from pure black and pure white outputs are complicated by Edge-LED lighting not allowing these outputs to be reproduced simultaneously on-screen.
In September 2009 Nanoco Group announced that it has signed a joint development agreement with a major Japanese electronics company under which it will design and develop quantum dots for LED Backlights in LCD televisions. Quantum dots are valued for displays, because they emit light in very specific gaussian distributions. This can result in a display that more accurately renders the colors than the human eye can perceive.

Installing Linux (Tough Article)

Initially, a note about the reinstalments. With Debian, it is very rare to have to reinstall its system completely. The most common cause is undoubtedly a mechanical failure of the hard drive.

Many operating systems require a complete installation when critical failures occur or when one makes an update of the system. And even if it is not necessary to entirely remake an installation, the programs which you use must be reinstalled to function correctly.

With Debian GNU/Linux, it is much more probable than your OS can be repaired when the things turn badly, and not replaced. The updates never require a complete installation; you can always do them starting from the existing system. The programs are almost always compatible with the successive versions of the system. When the new version of a program requires other software, the system of packing makes so that all the software requirements are listed and installed. Many efforts were deployed to avoid the need for a reinstalment: it is the last option! And the fitter is not designed to make an installation on an existing system.

Here the stages which compose the process of installation:

The WOPad with capacitive screen as on the iPad

WOPAD WR701 is a shelf which starts with good to be sold throughout the world, you were numerous to require this complete test of the shelf of us.
