WOPAD WR701 is a shelf which starts with good to be sold throughout the world, you were numerous to require this complete test of the shelf of us. If the screen has charm us, the processor, Rockchips 2818 (AMR926Ej-S REV5 v5l) on the other hand, disappointed us. Given rhythm into 600MHZ, it integrates a DPS for video decompression, but not of GPU for acceleration 3D.
Design and design: 8/10
WoPAD is a beautiful shelf finished well except for the 3 buttons on the top of the shelf which makes a little light. The aluminium hull reinforces the image of quality, it makes solid and the weight of the unit (373 G) reinforces this effect. The shelf has only one Menu button and Home, volume is fortunately accessible by tactile buttons in the application from video reading and music.
With this aluminium hull, the capacitive screen and this level of completion, we are far from thinking, that we deal with shelf only costing. less than 180 euros.
One regrets: The choice of the processor which is by example incompatible with certain plays, in particular Angry Bird. The shelf does not have webcam either. To see the vidéos Youtube, it is necessary to pass by an application of the TubeMate type (available free on Android Market) which downloads initially it video on the shelf to be able to view it.
One likes: Design of the shelf, aluminium completion, the capacitive screen very pleasant to use and very precis, good autonomy.
Conclusion: WoPad is a good shelf for the multi-media one, the Internet, with the proviso of not needing the Flash 10.1. But it is also a very good shelf to write. Thanks to its capacitive screen, this shelf has at the same time the most precise keyboard and of fastest than we tested. It functions very well with plays like: Alpine Board, Ninja Rush, Eagle Nest, Doodle Jump, Rope cut, Air Control…
